It happened around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 5, Spring police wrote. The victim, an unnamed man, was visiting a woman near Cleveland and Morwood avenues when a gunman chased him out of the house, investigators believe.

The shooter, who was firing his gun at the victim during the chase, struck the man once in the arm, police said.

The victim contacted authorities, who went back to the Cleveland Avenue home to investigate, the release says. While they were speaking with the woman, officers saw the alleged gunman dangling from a second-story window, police said.

The suspect climbed back in and was arrested at the home without further incident, police said. Terrance Bridgers, 30, of Reading, was charged with felony aggravated assault and related counts, according to state court filings.

He was unable to post his $250,000 bond and remains in the Berks County lockup ahead of his May 16 preliminary hearing, court records show.
